Melissa Cummings is our esteemed Medical Director and owner, recognized for her exceptional expertise as a Double Board Certified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. She is credentialed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, and the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

Melissa's journey in Aesthetic Medicine began 20 years ago, when she became a Licensed Esthetician in 2005. She has maintained this license while simultaneously expanding her knowledge and skills in the field. In 2012, she earned an undergraduate degree in Medical Esthetics, solidifying her foundation in the industry.

In 2014, Melissa completed her nursing program, further advancing her scope of practice to align with her passion for delivering specialized patient care in aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology. She demonstrated her commitment to lifelong learning and excellence by achieving an Advanced Practice Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2023.

Melissa's advanced training includes numerous certifications in key areas such as Sclerotherapy, Dermatology Procedures in Primary Care, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Laser Technician certification, Medically Assisted Weight Loss, as well as expertise in Laser Therapies and Energy-Based Devices. She is also skilled in Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty using Colibri® and Advanced Injection Techniques with neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
